I like most of the record a lot. I voted for first Light, but there were a couple of others it just as easily could have been.

"One of these days I'll get an early night" gets my vote, love it.

Though the whole album is great.

^ Nope, while I do like " A Live Record" a lot I find it a tad boring at times especially the Snow Goodse retakes. Skylines is far better on the studio album IMO. Love " Lxigging at Louise" though

so few people voted for metrognome?

it's such a great song

but who here agrees the versions found on A Live Record of some of these songs are profoundly better? :D

metrognome, my favorit camel song
SMART preachers of our doom
Telling us there is no room.
Not enough for all mankind
And the seas of time are running dry.

First Light.

An amazing song with perhaps my favorite sax solo of all time.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Skylines is the only track of Rain Dances that's still in line with the previous albums (and the only one on A Live Record)

The title track "Rain Dances." I've never been able to get into this album. This song is the only one that reminds me somewhat of the sounds evoked on MOONMADNESS. "Elke" is okay too.
