I have a question should Citizen Cain stay in Symphonic Prog or should they be in Neo Prog? They sound more like Neo Prog than Symphonic and to me The Watch sounds like it should be in Symphonic Prog or Rock Progressivo Italiano.

Symphonic.

But I'm sure someone from the symph team will say why.

A tip. It make searching for topics much more succesful if the person starting the thread gives it a relevant title. In this case, bcause the thread title does not mention Citizen Cain, those who recalled a discussion on that band and wish to find it, will find it much harder to do so.

(I've updated the title now)

Citizen Cain is a weird band, I can not grasp how could they make a masterpiece as Somewhere But Yesterday while I find their other material not much more than interesting. You may state the dilemma both ways, "how could such an immature band come up with the masterpiece SBY" or "how could guys capable of doing SBY not be able to do anything else close to it" (and let's make it clear that I enjoy some of their other stuff, but it's soooooo far from SBY".
To the point, their genre is clearly more Symphonic than Neo.

I like these bands OP mentioned just where they are. The Symphonic Team have agreed that is where they should stay and that will suffice for now.
