Both Dutch, both Symphonic, and both released 3 albums during the 70's. Pick your favorite.

Trace. They were an improved version of ELP, with the most technically gifted keyboard wizard of all in the late, lamented Rick van der Linden. Finch were good, but not nearly as good as Trace.

If Finch would have had better recording quality, it would have been a major act on this site. There compositional and technical playing is almost the best the seventies has to offer. Trace is another high-quality Dutch band, with rock'n roll keyboard prog. Can't vote myself.

Not my opinion only. Premier League are King Crimson, Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd etc. Do you want to include Finch and Trace between them seriously? Confused
I count only Focus from Dutch bands to 1st Prog League.

I was not aware of  a league structure in prog rock, I think it only exists in your mind, a person who must start all kind of polls, and yes as Friso said they were a great band and live could have played with anyone

OK. Next time, just to suite your musical tastes I'll make another "Who was the greatest Prog band?" and include Crimson, Genesis, Floyd, Yes and so on. I don't know you, but i'm getting tired of those kind of polls. That's why I thought this dutch poll was at least something different. Nevertheless, you know that if you don't like this bands, you are not oblied to vote. It's just as simple as that.
