Hi Guys
Check out Jeff Green and his self financed first album 'Jessica'
This album tells a sad story but the music is uplifting with great guitar work.
The story surrounds the events leading upto the point of Jeffs daughter being still born. As a result, some of the proceeds from this album are being donated to the hospital Maternity Ward where this happened in Southend, Essex, UK

Please read the whole story in Jeffs own words here:

The album has great pedigree featuring Phil Hilborne on guitar (the ultimate guitarists guitarist) and Pete Riley on Drums (Wetton / Downes Icon and Keith Emerson Band)

And hear the album online here:

and read Jeffs Biography here:

Jeff is an American who now lives, with his wife, in Ireland after spending many years in the UK as a musician.
He also plays in the Ilegal Eagles tribute band... but the biography link above will tell all.

Jeff surely deserves a place in the annuals of ProgArchives as a prog artist with a great album and also has a the follow up due in 2011, called Elder Creek.

Anyway check him out and lets get Jeff the position amongst the Prog elite on this website he deserves.

Thanks
YodaUK (Phil)

Agreed 100%
There is an interview with Jeff and 6 of the 12 tracks from this album featured on Frans Keylard's "Rogues'Gallery" podcast on The Dividing Line Broadcast Network (show no 347, March 19 2011).
The link to the main page is http://www.thedividingline.com/rg.html
with playlists and links to many previous shows too, and this particular show itself can be streamed or downloaded at http://progressiverockpodcast.com/RG347.mp3 (left click to play, right click and "save as" to download)
Enjoy - it's good!

Jeff Green is a great artist, and definetly should be in Progarchives. His album Jessica tells his heartmoving experience and definetly shows his inspiration and dedication. It is a great album that shouldn't be missed by any prog fan. Highly recommended!Clap

Please suggest the artist in "Suggest New Artists" in the forum just below this forum. Just so the evaluation teams can formally evaluate this artist. That's the way to go.

Btw be kind enough to suggest genre & include listening samples.

I guess Damo's involvement in this case got delayed by a certain earthquake and tsunami incident.

After going through this one myself today I've suggested it to the Neo-prog team for consideration.

Hi Guys...
I have indeed sent an email through the Suggest new artists route previously but it seemed to get lost somewhere as no one seems to know about it.

I can send music files, pictures etc etc to add to any Jeff Green entry in the Progarchives.. no problem at all.

By the way this album features Mike Stobbie from Pallas amongst other guests

He's got my vote ... one more needed, for his inclusion in Progarchives.
