Madder Lake:
Australian 70s prog/blues rock group. Would probably fit in well in heavy prog, not sure. I'll leave that up to yous. (Yous?) Confused

A tough case indeed.

Wikipedia says they are an Australian "progressive" rock band, but as far as I've listened to their first album, they may be an heavy-blues-rock outfit tinged with progressive essence.
Felt not Psych nor Heavy, I consider only Prog-Related can be suitable for them ...

Or, more progressive albums than Stillpoint are there?

Their second album Butterfly Farm is perhaps a little more proggy, the songs are more refined than on the previous album but it's still in the same vein as Stillpoint. If you think prog related, that's fine and would suit too I think. Thumbs Up

I agree with Keishiro. There are obvious progressive elements in the 8 minute track, but the rest of the samples I heard were more blues-rock.

I think they belong here, but not in Heavy Prog. Crossover?

I don't fully agree with my original sub-genre suggestion for them. Yeah, yours is probably a better fit.

Great band BTW guys. Big smile
Been hearing their music since I was little, they really scared me back then. LOL
