I live in Chennai, India.
And to this date, almost every band calls themselves prog but I am yet to see more than one proper progressive rock band. Really saddening. A bunch of attitude stricken people. That's the music scene here. No stuff, but lots of hype

Hi
I'm from Chicago and as far as seeing big acts there is couple of good clubs like Martyrs where you can go and see good concert and what is great that you can see musicians up close. I'm also involved in band but as far getting shows it really sucks especially if there is no vocals, lots of band they whant to make the scene and they go with the flow what's popular this year. For us it's tuff to play shows with punk, metal or funk bands.
If any one is interested check us out.

Hey guys check out Artilect's debut album recorded and mixed by the mastermind Jerry Guidroz at Radiant Records (Transatlantic, Neal Morse, Mike Portnoy)! The mastering was done by none other than progressive metal guru Jamie King (Between the Buried and Me).

You can hear a full track off the album at:

Or check out samples of the album on Itunes. If your interested in purchasing the album please head over to Itunes or cdbaby.com and like us on facebook.com/artilect
