I was thinking of making of this poll the other day, so well done.
I'll go with The World...the other two are a bit weaker overall to me.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

"Out of town, My work takes me out of town.
I empty villages
I burn their houses down.
I set up factories,
Lay out plantations,
And bring prosperity to
The poorer nations...."
^ One of my "all-time" favourite songs.
I love all of them, and am very, very keen on other projects that Art Bears personnel worked on too. I went with The World as it is Today which was the album that got me into Art Bears (my first) and led me to discover a lot of great music. I feel like putting on Winter Songs right now; been quite a long time since I last played it.

MFP, have you heard News From Babel ?
Just now I was looking back on a locked Art Bears poll from 2008 lamenting how I'd rather burned myself out on Art Bears and related projects, but earlier today I was really enjoying Chris Cutler and Lutz Glandien's Domestic Stories again and the Science Group the other day.

Winter Songs for me - all 3 albums are superb but the middle one is as close to perfection as it gets, on a par with Rock Bottom or Lick My Decals Off, Baby.
