Somebody posted spam in the thread you were subscribe to, you received the new post notification, someone reported the spam, the spammer and his posts were nuked.

I received an email today, from exactly the same address that always gives me forum updates (admin-forum@progarchives.com). It seemed exactly like a forum update, but the message itself wasn't relevant to the topic (in this case, "coffee-table prog books"), instead advertising sports equipment. But even weirder than the usual spam-in-comment-form, was the fact that on the thread itself the message didn't exist. If someone has already deleted it then.... how am I getting e-mails about it?
