I wrote a review of their debut yesterday and they struck me as a reasonable candidate for avant-prog, maybe.

The whole album is stream-able here.

Why not posting them directly for the ZART, David? If it's because you're not sure about the genre assignment, then I'll give them a listen soon.

Not 100%, and I don't really consider myself to be an active member of the team these days.

OK, I'll give them a listen. And anyone can suggest bands, one doesn't need to be a team member for it.

Agreed. But is it avant-prog or just avant-rock? That's what I'm grappling with atm.

I have similar doubts.

That's exactly the distinction the ZART people usually make when evaluating the suggestions... We'll have to wait and find out.

This s a difficult one indeed! Some of it is a clear yes, but some not [I hear avant rock - like Albini/Shellac say...?]. I would say overall, probably  No, but I want to take some time...  I would like to hear a few more opinions from the team... [I'm quoting this post in the team thread].
I quite liked the album though - Thanks!
