Calling All Flecktone Travelers

The new CD will be released on May 17th.
It's called Rocket Science on e1 Records http://www.kochentertainment.com/artists/

You can see our new tour dates at www.flecktones.com
We are all excited about this new music and can't wait to play it for you.

In the meantime - we have a few other items we want to mention.

Please keep an eye out for Jeff Coffin's latest CD
Jeff Coffin + Jeff Sipe 'DUET' (on Compass Records)
available now on iTunes!

Also - our friends ALASH are trying to get a new CD out to the world:

Alash has been working on a new CD. They are down to the wire and looking for some help to complete the project. YOU CAN HELP!

You can be part of the  “Alash support team” to help them get the album finished.

They started a fund raiser on Kickstarter.  They have to raise a minim of $2000, if not, they receive nothing.  If they get more, they can keep it. If they make their goal in the next 26 days, all the funds go to an account that they get directly.  We can cut the CD very fast here.

If you are inclined, please share it with anyone you think might like to help a struggling group.

oh wow. That cover kind of looks like their first album. It's been forever since a new album by BF&tFT came out. The last album The Hidden Land (2006) was ok, but nothing spectacular; here's hoping this new one is awesome.

^ Indeed. Hopefully that is good news. That debut album is delicious.

Ive been listening to Victor Wooten's solo albums a lot over the last few months, so I'm hoping there's plenty of grooves and slap bass on this new album.

Yea, their first few albums are great jazz-rock/funk/fusion with traces of bluegrass. Little Worlds was really good too. May seems to be a big month for new releases (for me at least)
