I really wonder which one do you like better and of course I would like to see your reasons too. For me it is Afterglow since it is a really mature Scandinavin symphonic prog. I am not the biggest fan of Scandinavian symphonic prog bands since their lack of maturity in their insight of music. But Wobller perfectly overcomes this situation and come up with 2 great albums.

Wobbler has issued some quality music in their first two cd's. I know the third cd is on the way and I cant wait!

I like Afterglow just slightly better than Hinterland, and I mean slightly by 0.00001%. However, Wobbler is an excellent band that doesn't excite me as much as they used to.

Afterglow. This album resonates with me in a way that not many other albums do.
I love Hinterland a lot, though.

Hinterland.
They old versions of the songs on Afterglow are better. Edited by Kosmonaut - April 02 2011 at 03:49 |

Mikael Akerfeldt for fans of Opeth who don't like his growls (and generally the growls): If they don't like it then they are pussies.

Hinterland is more coherent in terms of composition. Very nice and four stars.
Afterglow suffers from the Anglagaard Syndrome: Piecing together numerous traditional-sounding "prog-rock" passages for the sake of making long pieces. It's a mess. |

I prefer Afterglow. The album may be way too short by modern standards but the content is considerably better than Hinterland. The best indication I can give is that when I'm in the mood for some Wobbler I usually reach for Afterglow.
