Cow by miles.
Kayo Dot are average at best. Henry Cow is amazing through and through...even including In Praise Of Learning.

Choirs beats anything HC ever did. I like both bands, though.

Oh yeah, who ever called Kayo Dot the modern day Henry Cow?

I cant remeber who wrote it now but KD used it on their mysapce page. I think it was trying to break their connection with post metal as much as anything but I certainly see the merit in that statement, musically they dfinitely have a lot more in commen with the original RIO bands than with metal of any sort.

I don't know. I probably listen to Kayo Dot more often, but side A on Unrest is 22 minutes of pure musical perfection, and dearer to me than anything involving Toby Driver.

Henry Muuuuh for me. I get much more milk from any Cow release than I get from the Dot. I like Choirs and Dowsing though.

Voted for the Cow. Kayo Dot can be disappointing sometimes (Hubardo).

Henry Cow.

When he rides, my fears subside. For darkness turns once more to light. Through the skies, his white horse flies. To find a land beyond the night.
