Very hard to choose but I’ll go for Glenn Cornick. Benefit is my favourite Tull album and I loved his playing at the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970.

Probably Glasscock. Hammond could never really play the bass and Ian got fed up of teaching him all the parts note by note.

Why do so few people seem to realize that Living in the Past is a compilation that includes tracks from the band's first four albums? No one makes this mistake with other greatest hits records.

Have to give a vote to Peggy.  After that, Glasscock, Cornick (who I believe plays all the bass on Living in the Past), and Hammond-Hammond.

As others said, a very hard choice, since Tull has always counted on it's ranks a really good bass player. I guess Jeffrey Hammond gets my vote, only for sentimental/nostalgia reasons, but I admire all of them.

My vote goes to Glenn, he has been absolutely phenomenal both live and in the studio, and his bass playing really added a lot to Tull's music.

John Glascock (RIP) was probably the most accomplished of them all, but I love Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond's playing on TAAB and APP, he gets my vote.  He was also great on stage. Loved his Zebra suit and matching Zebra. bass guitar

Well, I can't pass this poll up...

The only Tull bass player to wield the power of Satan, duh.

Hammond was very much under-appreciated in the 1970's.  I saw the band numerous times, and I'd put Jeffrey up there with the best bassists of the era, Squire included.

Most memorable show was Tull's "Thick as Brick" show in Chicago....Glenn Cornick's band "Wild Turkey" was the warm-up act!   Amazing night!

Actually, I was talking more about the track, "Living in the Past" for the sexy bass line.
