Alright, time to revive a beaten-to-death concept on PA!!

Ok, you have been given the opportunity to craft a 7+-piece band with any prog musicians ever, from any sub-genre, era, whatever. They can be dead. It doesn't matter what instruments are in the band, how many of each, or whatever, and the band doesn't have to be "realistic" (ie you can have Roger Waters and David Gimlour in the same band without fighting). So no restrictions, other than there has to be 7 or more members.
Mine is:

Mariusz Duda (Riverside) - Vocals/Bass
Steve Hackett (Genesis) - Guitar
Bill Bruford (King Crimson) - Drums
Kieth Emerson (ELP) - Keyboards
Adrian Terrazas (TMV) - Wind
Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) - Drums
Annie Haslam (Renaissance) - Vocals
Christian Vander (Magma) - Vocals/Drums
Kevin Moore (OSI/DT) - Keyboards/Vocals
Toby Driver - Guitar/Vocals/whatever else he plays

That's right. 3 drummers, 5 vocalists. This band would make the most avant-garde music known to man.

And yours?

Based on an idea my partner & I were kicking around earlier:

Steve Walsh: Vocals/Piano/Hammond Organ
Steve Hogarth: Vocals/Keyboards/Rhythm Guitar/MIDI Gloves/Cricket Bat/Assorted Percussion
Cedric Bixler Zavala: Vocals/Maracas/Bongos/Assorted Noise Manipulation Devices
Daniel Gildenlow: Vocals/Guitar/Keys/Percussion
Dan Swano: Vocals/Drums/Guitar/Bass/Keyboards
Andrew WK: Vocals/Drums/Guitar/Bass/Keyboards
Roine Stolt: Vocals/Guitar/Keyboards/Bass/Producer/Unauthorized Percussion

Basically a supergroup with the emphasis being on bizarre vocal hooks/harmonies and various vocal acrobatics. Most of the members being multi instrumentalists means they can swap instrumental and vocal duties depending on the piece. I imagine their sound being potentially ridiculously schizophrenic but still charming.

Also every encore would consist of the entire group performing a 30+ minute megamedley of the following:

House On Fire>Holidays In Eden>Take The Veil Cerpin Taxt>New Years Eve>Rollin' The Dice>Say Goodbye To Love>Party Hard

I've got the perfect prog band!

Cosia:Hurdy Gurdy(Zaar)
Christian Vander:Vocals and Drums(Magma)
Robert Fripp:Guitar, Mellotron, and Soundscapes(King Crimson)
Peter Hammill: Vocals, Guitar, Lyrics, and Keyboards(Van der Graaf Generator)
David Jackson:Flute and Sax(former Van der Graaf Generator)
Jonas Reingold: Bass Guitar and Fretless Bass(The Flower Kings, Kaipa, and Karmakanic)
Hasse Bruniusson:Percussions( former Samla Mammas Manna and The Flower Kings)
It's a combination of symphonic, avant garde, zeuhl and jazz/rock fusion.

Pat Skeffington - Guitar
Travis Levrier - Guitar
Tymon Kruidenier - Guitar
Michel Nienhuis - Guitar
Robin Zielhorst - Bass

Miles Davis - Trumpet
Phil Collins - Drums (70s Phil)
Wayne Shorter - Saxophone
Joe Zawinul - Keyboards
John McLaughlin - Guitars

My mind would eat itself. The only addition that I could make would be Holdsworth.

This is nice. I'd add Zoltan Czsorz on the drums and Jonas Reingold on the bass. And maybe Bill Bruford.

Christian Vander - drums
Cyro Baptista - percussion
yours truly - bass
Carla Kihlstedt - violin, vocals
Toby Smith - Rhodes piano, keyboards
Steven "Flying Lotus" Ellison - laptop
James McGaw - guitar

The result would sound like a trancy mix of Kohntarkosz/Theusz Hamtaak era zeuhl and harsh Part the Second-like music with Carla's sweet voice instead of the Magma choir and Electric Masada-like improvisation.
