For better evenness I´ve decided to create this poll.

I mean Anthony Phillips is shamelessly underrated guitarist and (Goodness knows why) shadowed by his descendent. Although, he´s helluva skilled guy and some his solo albums are wonderful and as good as Hackett´s ones minimally.Clap

Not necessarily a guitar solo(s), but his guitar work on "Dusk" is great.

I find it hard to choose because I'm not very focused on guitar solos, so I withhold my vote. Nevertheless I agree with your statement about his solo output. Wise after the Event has been my favourite of all solo albums by Genesis members for a length of years (I still play it now and then), with Voyage of the Acolyte as a close second.

There are certainly lots of great Ant solos on Trespass. What about favorite songs from Ant's extensive body of solo albums?

For some further perspectives on Anthony Phillips' as well as Steve Hackett's post-Genesis careers, check out "The Branches of Genesis" episodes of The Irrelevant Rock & Roll & Music Show.

I can't even vote because I don't know, but Anthony Phillips' first solo album is so delightful.

I was thinking about Stagnation, but I chose The Knife instead. It's so powerful what he does there.

Not underrated at all, he has an impressive solo discography that is highly regarded by prog afficionados.
Leave Genesis is the best thing he could do in his musical life.

This. I love Phillips' solo output, which has given me a huge amount of pleasure over the years.

Damn straight.  We got Hackett in Genesis plus Ant's solo albums.  A win win situation. Big smile

My favorite tune from the poll is "In the Wilderness".  Just love that song.  And Trespass is a fantastic album as a whole.  I can't think of many actual guitar solos Phillips played on a Genesis album though.
