I have always loved Mostly Autumn mainly due to Heather's amazing multi octave vocals and now that she has moved on I am following her progress closely.
I am so happy Heather Findlay has her own progarchives page and I trust from what I heard that she will do brilliantly with the Phoenix Suite album... EP...
Here's the progarchives entry
Listen here... to some samples from her latest album
she speaks about her influences which are varied and her lyrics are very strange...

Ah, I'm happy to read this.
I'v e been a fan of hers quite a while now, but strangely enough exclusively for her guest appearances on other artist's albums, say Ayreon, for instance. She has one of the most beautiful voices I've heard. That being said, I think Mostly Autumn is just downright awful, mainly due to Bryan Josh's insufferable warblings. Best thing HF could do was to go solo. My opinion, of course. I'm going to buy her album for sure. Edited by npjnpj - April 27 2011 at 00:30 |

Ah some love here for dear Heather
and rightly so, she may be one of the best female vocalists.

I wish Heather to reach all possible heights, but I'm quite sceptical about her solo career.
MA is a group of talented authors and musicians having their chemistry, but even MA albums are not flawless. I'm not impressed by cuts from "Phoenix Suite" in YouTube video, first impression: nothing extraordinary.
