I know who has the worst.  Mike Portnoy.

The best of any genre belongs to (insert any pre-60s jazz drummer here).  I'll say Buddy Rich.

Mmmmmmmmmm. Bruford's is indeed fantastic.
Although I am by no means an expert on the subject, Gavin Harrison has to be my overall favourite. Sickeningly snappy and tight.
