Seeing as Floyd are one of those rare bands with tons of quality material unexplicabily unreleased to this day, I'd say yes, I could do with some more.
Bigger on the inside.

I'm sure there are new buyers for Pink Floyd albums, and that they'd prefer new reissues instead of buying old cheap editions that remained unsold or buying used ones.

The existing CDs sound excellent so I hope they don't get carried away by the whole remastering craze.

And an official release of rare goodies is long overdue, I would especially look forward for the BBC sessions from 68-71 Thumbs Up

I own three Pink Floyd albums - Atom Heart Mother, Wish You Were Here and Pulse.
Been totally satisfied with these but on the other hand, I might check some older material ...

All I care about is live concert DVD (video) from the Waters era.  If they're not going to release DVDs of the 70s tours, then this is a big yawn to me.

Yepp i Agree that would be worth my hard earned cash,  Notice they not said what the new material is, might well spend some my hard earned on some the new Vinyls though as some mine seen better days depends on how much
there going to be though.

I guess there going to tag this so called new material on to the original albums , it would be far better if they just put it out on its own separate from the original albums  but hey Money it's a Gas !!!

I get the impression that they are selling the same stuff over and over and over again for years and years and years.
For me the Pink Floyd chapter is about over now. Remember that Night and In the Flesh were excellent swan songs. Maybe David or Roger will come up one day with some more good solo work. Those remastered albums may be fine for audiophile newbies with an overload of finance in their wallets. Unhappy

Open the archives, make the bootlegs official, release live stuff, and make unheard things heard. But it's nearly criminal to entice people to buy 40 pages of glossy photos and kitsch just so they might hear a rough cut of "On the Run." Boo.

If only.  From the looks of it, any live material or unreleased stuff will require buying the remastered albums.  What a money grab.

Seeing unreleased material unearthed is never a bad thing. (Though I doubt they have much that the most hardcore fans/bootlegers haven't already heard in some form). If they could somehow put together some "Official Bootleg" DVD of a Water's Era concert that would potentially be awesome. Seeing as this is what that article is about I have no problem this.

The thread title kind of scared me. I thought this was potentially about a new album of songs from Gilmour/Mason. That must never happen. Never again.
