Great news Richard! Will there be a physical pressing at any point?

Thanks for the feedback everyone - much appreciated.

Gazzardian' question -  'Great news Richard! Will there be a physical pressing at any point?'

That's the question I've been thinking about the last few months...

The answer is just digital.

Now I'm all for CD's - I've released around 19 factory pressed CD's and even oversaw the whole process for some of them during my 7 years day job working at EMI CD. And I understand the argument for not giving away music for free.

But...

I've been quite fortunate that I've been able to break even on all my bizzaro, non-gigging album projects but it's getting increasingly more time consuming promoting enough to make pressing up worthwhile - the last album WEIRD TALES proved pretty difficult distro and review-wise. Also, my current day job being a music and disability charity co-director needs a lot of time put into it at the moment - this economic climate is not good for charities.

So I decided to give the new album away digital only. Hopefully it's good enough that people will want to tell others about it. With a bit of luck, more people will pick up on what Karda Estra is all about and investiagte the back catalogue. And for those who've followed me this far, it will be a nice prezzie.

Cheers,

Richard

Fair answer Smile

I've given it a spin now and I really like this one, so hopefully it will spread pretty well. After I've listened to it enough times I'll write a review here. Good luck!

Thanks all!  Yes, spreading the word is very much appreciated - at least the job should be a lot easier when the album is free.
