The gig took place in the biggest park in Warsaw, near the statue of F. Chopin and the stage was placed in the middle of a pond in front of the statue. Actually Steve Hackett's trio wasn't the only band that played. The concert was divided into two parts. As the first performed a Polish jazz ensemble Włodek Pawlik Trio together with an American trumpeter Randy Brecker. Very nice!
They played for about an hour and then Steve Hackett Acoustic Trio emerged on the stage and the joint-venture of the two bands played "Voodoo Chile" together!
After the stage has been rearranged a bit Steve Hackett's Trio came back and the second part of the show commenced. They played hauntingly beautiful. Also for about an hour and ended with one encore. Mr. Hackett seemed to be a very nice guy.

What a great evening we (me and my gf) had! Clap

BTW, obviously, because the gig was organised by the city, it was entirely FREE for everybody to come!
"Music is much like f**king, but some composers can't climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent."

Charles Bukowski
