Just had the chance to hear a couple of tracks from Ken Hensley and Live Fire new album Faster. Thought it sounded really good very heavy reminded me of his music from the early 70's. Anyone else had a chance to hear it?

Yes I have it. One play and it sounds great, and there's been good competition this year already with Magnum, Whitesnake, Uriah Heep,and soon Journey and others. It is well produced and his songs as ever are well thought out lyrically. Not an overtly Christian album this time, though nothing wrong if it is....better than the Devil, sex, drugs etc that seems to be happily accepted so easily.

Bob, I don't think progginess is important. In case of Mr. Hensley the only question is: how good are the songs. And I believe there should be something worth listening. The cover art, like on new Heep album, is awful. Smile

I quite like like the new heep cover but anyway am more interested in the music. And I guess most people are liking the new albums from Heep and Hensley.
