Art Interview in The Journal Of Unlikely Entomology
The first issue of The Journal of Unlikely Entomology is now online and TRM's Lynnette Shelley is the featured artist for its inaugural issue. This new online magazine is devoted to all things creepy and crawly. Her artwork "The Mosquito" (used on the cover of “Fossil Eyes”) is used to illustrate the short story, "Love in the Absence of Mosquitoes" by Mari Ness. In addition, editor Bernie Mojzes and Art Director Linda Saboe conducted an interview with Lynnette, which you can read here. The interview is mostly about Lynnette’s artwork but also delves a bit into the music of The Red Masque as well.

TRM's drummer Steve Craig has edited together a new more pro video of the song "Polyphemus" from the band's recent gig at Pyramid Atlantic in Washington DC. Video footage provided by Debi Byrd and Brandon Ross. Steve will be editing together more videos from this show soon. Thanks!
I am impressed Steve was able to do what he did given the limitations of the videos he was working with. We had one video, which was a bit blurry, but the sound was decent on it. Then we got another video from someone else which looked way better but the sound was unusable. To complicate matters, the clearer video also only showed myself and Steve in most of the shots as Brandon and Nick were (for the most part) cut off on the sides of the video. So Steve had to edit between the two videos and use the sound from the first one. Overall I think he did a great job. He's going to try and edit the songs from the rest of the hour long set and upload them as well, though it make take a little time....

Hello all,

We’ve just uploaded a new video from our July show at the Telemark Clubhouse in Rockaway, NJ. Visit out youtube channel to see it here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-sPSJpeOPw

Please note, there was not much lighting at the show so the video is a little grainy / dark; however we lightened it as much as we could.

We are also at work on organizing a professionally recorded live show / performance webcast at a studio in Pennsylvania for the Fall. We’ll have full details as soon as they are fleshed out.

In the meantime, please enjoy the above video.
