Finally got my copy. I think all the hype and the long wait has left me with expectations way over the top. Nicely recorded for sure but I'm feeling a tad underwelmed just at the moment. Will need more listens I guess.

At my personal site, I'm holding an Änglagård Q and A, a one of a kind interview in which the band answers YOUR questions. It ends TONIGHT, so check it out only at... http://zombyprog.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=qanda&action=display&thread=83

Not spam, I've actually contacted the band!!

I'm sort of excited... I loved their first album. The second one I only heard on Youtube a couple of times and didn't sound as great as the first one... but I'd need to give it more listens to be sure. I wonder what will the new one sound? More similar to the first or the second? Or something completley new?
And how complicated it might be to get it.

Alvarsdotter said that the album would be available in the first week of July. And BTW, the video you posted is not a new song, it's from their second album

Anglagard have posted information about their new album on their facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/anglagardrecords?rf=113145402029734

The release date is not set yet, but should be in the middle or end of June.

It's a three fold digipak and a booklet with artwork and poem for every song.

The album name is "Viljans Öga"

It includes four songs:
1: Ur Vilande
2: Sorgmantel
3: Snårdom
4: Längtans Klocka

The length of the album is about 57 minutes.

They have been posting documentaries about the making of the album, as well:

And a new song that they played live:

Still, that's just three minutes short of an hour; it's a lot of music.

Man, so many people have been waiting for this one album for so long. I can't wait! Super excited. Big smile The album cover is very cool as well. It has that dark, murky look that was shown on the previous album that I really enjoy.
