Both are great Progressive Metal bands founded by the ex- keyboardists of Dream Theater. OSI by Kevin Moore, Planet X by Derek Sherinian? Which do you prefer? I find it tough, I love Moore's writing and playing, but I just love the jazz factor of Planet X. Who's your favorite?

OSI for me.  I really like Quantum, but haven't heard anything else by Planet X that was as interesting.

Not a huge PX fan but I simply can not stand OSI. You would have to work real hard to come up with a band that would beat them in a head to head poll for me.

I find myself bored halfway through a Planet X album however OSI keeps me engaged 'til the end.

Love both bands... but O.S.I sound more mature and original for me. Of course, I good take both bands over most popular bands in PA... love them both... but O.S.I wins for me... Moore and Matheos are total masters of their game... Headbanger

I like Sherinian's solo albums better than PLANET X but that's because they are more Metal. And yes OSI does it for me a lot more than PLANET X does.

O.S.I. by a country mile........Blood is one of the best albums by any "project" band of the past few years. Looking forward to more O.S.I..Hopefully soon!!!!
