Time Honoured Ghosts was my first BJH album, and it remains my favorite of the ones I've heard (Everyone is Everybody Else, Octoberon, BBC In Concert 1972).
Bigger on the inside.

I like very much Octoberon's cover. Especially the Octoberon logo.

"Beyond the Grave" is identical stylisitically to Procol Harum and Genesis Wind and Wuthering period. The song starts with this intro which sounds a bit early Procol and after the marching style drum roll fades, they entire band plays a progression which is Hackette sounding. Even the lead vocal is a bit Gary Brooker Grand Hotel sounding. BUT!  It's Barclay James Harvest all the way and it withstands the test of time for me. It may contain those influences, but B.J.H. remain true on this creation. It's holy outstanding!

My favourite of them all is - and will always be - "Live Tapes" followed by "Octoberon".
