Warrior is slightly ahead as the finest example of Hawkdom. I find Mountain Grill to be somewhat raunchier but very tasty nevertheless.
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

I only have the barbecue one out of these. Also Space Ritual which is my fave.
On another note, it is funny how things change over time. All my old friends (metalheads, punks, rock n rollers, badgers) know of Hawkwind through Motorhead - myself included... Turns out there´s a good deal out of these guys who actually got tuned into prog this way. Met a lot of the old punks not long ago, and as far as I can gather - most of them are listening to King Crimson and Van Der Graff Generator now. Some of them was obviously coerced by yours truly, but most of the flock found their way to our small pond by themselves. So yeah, it´s funny how things change over timeLOL

Their two best studio albums. Warrior slightly ahead of Hall.

Warrior for me, but just as good as these two albums are Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music and Quark, Strangeness and Charm from the Bob Calvert era which followed, imo.

Warrior!

HOTMG has a few good tracks, mostly on side 1 of the vinyl. The rest of the album is mostly forgettable throw away Hawkwind imo; a badly played, badly produced erratic mix of studio and live - what sound like - bootlegs.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I can't vote.  I love them both equally.
