Okay, to some of you, these last 3 songs are really listed as side C and D, or 3 and 4. But I always felt that the last 3 songs from both of these albums had the same idea going on. These were both legendary albums and after they had worked hard on making some tunes for people to enjoy, they have a whole other album for you to listen to, a much more bizzare side. Before I got into Krautrock, and these albums, I've read bad reviews on them. They would warn you of the "second side," and that it might scare you off. I'll admit, these were hard to listen to the first time. But these are really fun sides to listen to if you give it time.

For me:
Yeti vs. Augmn = Amon Duul II
Yeti Talks to Yogi vs. Peking O = Can
Sandoz in the Rain vs. Bring me Coffee or Tea = Have not decided yet. Both these songs are excellent closers, and is very relaxing after listening through their mind expansive "second side."

Can, no question.

Those three songs are brilliant and some of my favorite pieces of music. Nothing against Yeti, but the only thing that comes close is the closer.

Tago Mago. Yeti I find inconsistent, messy and chaotic but still it's agreat album. I find it's alot easier to get through Tago Mago in it's entirity in one listen and as for Yeti, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever made it all the way through the whole album in one sitting.

I don't think I've ever made it through any of the albums through one sitting, they are so long! LOL

Dammit, it's still a tie.  I couldn't make up my mind on the other poll and I still can't here.

i would've voted "both equally" if it were an option... If the poll was for the 1st side of tago mago against the 1st side of yeti, i would've chose tago mago

I like both choices very much, but I particularly relish the final half of Tago Mago. For some reason, when I don't listen to the whole thing, I am more likely to want to play the album from "Äugmn" on (and have called "Augmn" my particular favourite track off of the album).

Believe it or not, I'm gonna go with the Tago Mago trinity here.

Yeti without the explosive opening of Soap Shop Rock just feels weird. Going with Can.
