60 Zappa albums, being 930 songs.
After that it's Gentle Giant with 14 albums (120 songs) and then Caravan/Genesis with 9 albums each.

Zappa is the one I own most of with 40+ albums, followed by Jean-Michel Jarre (complete discography).
Others are Supertramp, Genesis, Gentle Giant, AC/DC and Pink Floyd. |

I have a few CDs! Nearly 1500 all up. Here is my list of those where I posses 10 or more. The ones in bold are Prog, Proto-prog or Prog-related: Jethro Tull and associated - 76 Richard Thompson - 65Wishbone Ash - 56 Pentangle/Jansch/Renbourn - 56 Big Country - 40 The Kinks/Ray Davies - 34 King Crimson - 32 Fairport Convention - 30 Gentle Giant - 28 Beatles - 26 Scott Walker/Walker Brothers - 23 Cat Stevens - 20 Horslips - 20 The Cure - 15 Living Colour/Vernon Reid - 14 Focus/van Leer/Akkerman - 13 Mogwai -12 Simple Minds - 12 The Skids/Richard Jobson - 12 The Who - 11 Ben Harper - 11 Echo and the Bunnymen - 10 David Sylvian/Japan - 11 Radiohead - 10 Collecting CDs is such an addiction. I cannot stop!

1) 31 Zappa CD's (this really surprised me!)
2) 27 King Crimson albums (includes a few vinyl bootlegs I bought in the 70's + the original 4CD Great Deceiver Box + I was in the King Crimson Collectors Club for a couple years in the 90's) 3) 18 Jethro Tull albums...including an original Thick as a Brick vinyl with full newspaper, a couple TaaB tour boots and a Passion Play boot 4) 14 albums 4 way tie with The Beatles, Floyd, Hawkwind, & Yes

I have tons of music by various prog artists, but I was unaware that parts of the artists themselves were available for purchase.

Between Pink Floyd and Dream Theater here. All of PF's studio and 2 boots, full DT studio including A Change of Seasons.

Gentle Giant (8 studio albums in my Itunes library) Led Zeppelin (5 studio albums + 2 live DVD's + 1 live album + 10 songs) Peter Gabriel (7 studio albums + 1 song) Radiohead (7 studio albums) (not prog but anyway): Sting (9 studio albums + 1 live album) Yes (7 studio albums)
