This is a band that for those who are interested in a heavy prog metal band that are as heavy as Opeth, but are not using growls this band is right up that alley and your alley also if you are lucky.

this is a fairly new band from Norway that are playing a sort of heavy, technical, yet very melodically but not cheesy at all, they have one album with 9 tracks all the 9 tracks kicks ass, they are really solidly good, so for any fans of heavy prog and prog metal should check them out, you will be surprised.

they are a five piece band (the bass player is a friend of mine, he is a fan of Cynic, Atheist, Death, Meshuggah, and such bands) and a lot of the songs are in the technical, mathematical style, and sounds related to Tech/extreme, except the vocals and guitar-melodies which is in the style of traditional Progressive metal like Symphony x, Ayreon, Dream Theater and Pain of Salvation. the musicians are really skilled, with blistering solos by all melodic instruments, and tight rhythmical breaks, so any fans of metal with melody and technical playing should REALLY check em out
