Topic: Kayo Dot vs Maudlin of the Well Posted: July 07 2011 at 21:42 |
I'm beginning to introduce myself to more albums of these two artists. They get alot of love around here, and all their albums are highly rated.
Let us see which Toby Driver album reigns superior.

Really it's In The L...L...Library Loft but I will vote for Choirs. Runners-up Dowsing, My Fruit Psychobells, Stained Glass (which you forgot), Coyote, Bath, Body Map, Part the Second, Blue Labency (in that order). All are at least 4.5* though.

Yeah wtf no Stained Glass? It wouldn't change my vote, but it would make it a lot harder.
As it is, Coyote wins by a rather large margin. It's just the strongest, most well rounded, thing they've done. awesomest
I'd order the list: Coyote, BLD, DAwCT, Part the 2nd, Bath, CotE, LyBM, MFB...

Hmm, if it would be band against band I'd easily vote for Kayo Dot, but in what albums are regarded, I need to relisten Choirs to know what I should vote...

Wow, I'm really imprssed that Partthe SEcond is winning. Every other release by Toby as MotW or KD is so much better . . . . Go figure. Also, NO LOVE FOR LEAVING YOUR BODY MAP?

Of the ones I have...
1. Part the Second
2. Body Map
3. Bath
4. Coyote
5. Blue Lambency
Yes I need Choirs. It's on the list.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Very tough poll as I LOVE almost equally PtSecond, Choirs, Body Map, and Bath. Going with Part the Second cuz almost every song causes goosebumps, elation, and moments in which I find myself shaking my head in amazement.
