First of all i'm sorry if this is not the right place to create this topic...

Can somebody please give me the translation to SBB's "Z których krwi krew moja (From Whose Blood, My Blood)" I really like to know what these guys are singing in this amazing song, I tried google translate but I guess their polish is not so good...

Thank you very much!
I look up, I'm almost blinded

by the warmth of what's inside me

and the taste that's in my soul,

but I'm dead inside as I stand alone...

This is what Google says (I'm not Polish)

I'm out of love
with the blood of my blood
I'm out of love or the will of the husband
bone of my bones which
I'm out of love
for the love of
I'm out of love

I have not heard in this house
ringtones silent tenderness
of whom thought my thoughts
I have never seen your kisses
why, therefore, gone a while
gone second
I'm out of love
I'm out of love
I'm out of love

I can't post the original lyrics as I don't know if they are copyrighted, but finding them on the web was quite easy.

And here's my translation (as a native Pole):

from love I come
from whose blood, my blood
from love I come or the husband's will
from whose bone, my bone
from love I come
from love
I come from love

I had not heard in this home
gentle bells of affection
from whose thought, my thought
I had never seen your kisses
so why when one passed away
the other passed away too
from love I come
I come from love
I come from love
"Music is much like f**king, but some composers can't climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent."

octopus-4 - Thanks very much, but that was the first thing I did and I felt it didn't make sense, so I came here...

Tuzvihar - Thank you too! Though it's always hard to understand the meaning of most lyrics (specially in prog) this feels like some sort of broken home problems or something like that...

Thanks so much!

I think he (or she) reflect over the fact , that someone (might be his parrents) both pass away (like in dying) relatively short after each other, seems he is surprised about that, due to the fact that he had the feeling this was not a house of love kiss and affection. So why would the first persons death, be that hard on the other one.

This is a very fine lyric, very complicated, when you think a bit deeper.

I have heard bits and pieces from this band over the years, but I have never actually sat down and listened to their back catalog. This was one of the bands I missed years ago.

Now it makes more sense to me why he sings with so much intensity and passion and almost like pain in the chorus, that's why I wanted to know the meanings of the lyrics. Amazing Clap

This is kind of word by word translation, but hits the meaning more exactly:

Of love I'm (made)
from which blood's - blood of mine is.
Of love I'm (made) - or of a man's will,
from whose bone - bone of mine is.

Of love I'm (made),
of love.
I'm (made) of love.

I have had not heard in this house
the quiet bells of tenderness,
from whose thought, thought of mine is.
I had never seen your kisses,
so why then, when one is gone away,
the other one is gone away too?

Of love I'm (made),
I'm (made) of love.
I'm (made) of love.

The lyrics were written by a stalinist soviet secret service colonel (of Polish-Ukrainian roots) Romuald Skopowski alias Julian Matej (alias probably derived from the GeStaPo agent Julia Mathea (Polish Mateja) responsible for the public execution of the band's leader Józef (Joseph) Skrzek's uncle Józef Skrzek (senior) on December 3rd, 1941.

Józef Skrzek's father died a couple of years later in an "accident" in a coalmine run as a soviet underground concentration camp by another stalinistic soviet from the Ukraine Zdzisław Tuczapski, brother of the mass murderer Tadeusz Tuczapski and friend of the other Polish-speaking soviets, mass murderers Czesław Kiszczak and Wojciech Jaruzelski (most of their victims died at Polish coalmines, shipyards, prisons and hospitals used as secret concentration camps, Jaruzelski received multiple Order of Lenin awards for "intervention" in Czechoslovakia in 1968 and for killing Poles in 1970).

Most people are unaware of Auschwitz working as a soviet camp after 1945, even opening new branches eg. concentration camp Jaworzno.

Józef Skrzek's mother and sister, despite the 1941 execution, still prefer to live in Germany (as I'm forced to do, as well).

Romuald Skopowski invigilated SBB from the very beginning, he was probably the most intimate soviet agent controlling the band (there were some others).
I've met colonel Skopowski several times, not even knowing who he really is, and he always seemed to be a very close friend of Józef Skrzek.

DanthraX: this feels like some sort of broken home problems or something like that...

Of course - but not so freudian and not so simple. All countries occupied and raped by foreign forces (as Poland by the soviets for 75 and Silesia for 70 years by now) have these "home problems".

…but who knows what else kind of shďt is in the head of a soviet traitor (and of his supervisors, the likes of Kiszczak, Jaruzelski, Putin…)?

Maybe the lyrics should be seen in a more political or ideological context?
See pictures by Polish painters of that time, the subtle political Jerzy Duda-Gracz (from Silesia too) or the authentic psychic hardcore of Zdzisław Beksiński.

By the way, the colours of bones and blood resemble the colours of Polish flag.

Maybe the passage:

...of a man's will,
from whose bone - bone of mine is…

is just a clue to the mass rapes performed by soviet soldiers on Silesian and Polish women (and even on little girls) and to the state of Poland at all and the man may be Josef Stalin himself.

Millions of Poles were killed and expelled from their country and replaced by homo sovieticus imported mostly from the Ukraine and Belarus.
The 2 000 people of my Silesian village (died as slaves in the Donetsk coalmines or were just expelled) were nearly completely replaced by 70 000 Ukrainians. The Polish-speaking Ukrainian soviets still live in the houses of my family and I'm not able to enter even my new house bough after 1990, when I was still unaware of the real situation. Since 1994 whenever I try to come close to my own house - I'm tortured, injured, radiated, intoxicated, jailed, expelled…
Imagine an Ukrainian or Tatar entering his own house on the Crimea? A Palestinian in Israel? A Tibetan or Uyghur in China? A Native American in the USA?…

Further the blood, bells and tenderness may also relate to the thousand years old Polish catholic tradition of adoration of The Holy Virgin aka The Queen of Poland (Blue Öyster Cult).
Bones and blood may be also seen as symbols of soviet imperial technocratic, kleptocratic occupation and indigenous traditions, lineage of blood - body and soul (John Coltrane).

Take into account - 600 up to 900 Poles escape and leave their own occupied country (where "freedom" and "democracy" are just further countless Potemkin villages) each and every day.
Poland is still occupied and the Ukraine is occupied again by the soviet terrorists - Holodomor of the 1930's, when millions died and cannibalism was common, the Chernobyl accident? (blast of a soviet nuclear reactor) of 1986 that lasts forever and the recent occupation of the Crimea and the Donetsk post-soviet military-industrial region.

I think, Frank Zappa knew this all, therefore his advice was so appreciated in the new Czech Republic.
