Topic: Yes vs Threshold Posted: July 20 2011 at 19:57 |
I am not sure if it is only due to the aviation references, but I see hear a similarity between the new Yes "I Can Fly" and Threshold's "Pilot in the Sky of Dreams". Which do you prefer??

Pilot ! Excellent song... I am still looking for the similarity in the music... To me it's more Marillionesque than Yes.

I have to admit that Pilot is brilliant. It's more powerful than We Can Fly, with more variations. To me, the instrumental work (keys, guitars, drums) is more attractive.
Now, I prefer the bass part and the vocals from We Can Fly, and this song awakes more emotions to me.
Since I've only listened once to Pilot, I can't choose.
Pilot is impressive.
Let's say Pilot.
