I don't know if everyone got the joke here ^

That is a

The unusual name of this clam (play /ˈɡdʌk/ "gooey duck") is derived from a Lushootseed (Nisqually) word gʷídəq[3][4] meaning "dig deep", and the odd spelling is likely the result of poor transcription rather than anything having to do with ducks.

Which oddly enough bears some resemblance to my current avatar.

I love Lucky Luke, Asterix, Tintin, Corto Maltese & Blueberry. I just won a price in a Belgian competition where you had to mention your top 20 of favorite cartoon albums, and all of these characters were actually in my top 20 with an album, think of that!

But, so was Donald Duck. Barks is a genius. Clap

I must say, there are some skilled Mickey Mouse artists as well.
From the old days I like Paul Murry and Jack Bradbury, for instance.

Right, by Floyd Gottfredson (drawings) and Bill Walsh (text).
Eega Beeva's stories (Gamma in English) were in the Dutch Mickey Maandblad (= Monthly). I'm not familiar with them, since I was only subscriber to the Donald Duck Magazine, but I know some of Gottfredson's strips and he did some great things. I love some of his stories.
