Take a Pebble on a musical level, Hallowed by Thy Name on a lyrical level.

Voted TaP.

No "Father Christmas"?

Very well-- "Lucky Man" it is.

Would've been interesting to hear Crimson's take on it, had Fripp accepted it.

Voted for Still You Turn Me On (but Affairs of the Heart from the Black Moon album is also damn nifty)

Agree with previous posters that one of Greg's best lyrics are those of Hallowed Be Thy Name

From the Beginning.

Does Epitaph count?
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

From The Beginning. That´s a pity that King Crimson´s era isn´t included!

It's hard to chose, There are only two of the above that I don't like. I settled for Take a Pebble, for the arrangement.
Hallowed Be Thy name also has a great arrangement and it showcases Greg as the fabulous singer he his.
From the Beginning, Lucky Man, C'est la vie and Still... are lovely, lovely melodies.

The Sage is another good one, that could have been included.

I like them all but the Works ones are cliche.

C'est la Vie.

That was very easy for me, I love the song and think that Mr. Lake sounds absolutely amazing.  The accordion really puts it over the top in my mind.
-------someone please tell him to delete this line, he looks like a noob-------

I don't have an unnatural obsession with Disney Princesses, I have a fourteen year old daughter and coping mechanisms.

From The Beginning is a gem although Emerson's synth work lifts this well above what could have been just a nice song.

I was listening to the Return Of The Manticore boxset recentlly mainly just to listen to Pirates but I let it run on into Affairs Of The Heart.  What a lovely song.

Outside of ELP 'It Hurts' must also be worth a mention if only for Gary Moore's  masterfull guitar work. Have a listen:

I'm afraid after C'est la Vie I don't know any of the songs, so I won't vote, but from those I know, "From the Beginning" is really beautiful. I also like Take a Pebble quiet a bit, but for me the mid-section is just about too long and not quiet to my taste.
