Hard to chose, I like them both. not a fan of beardfish first and last album, but spock's has some weak albums too. so I vote both.

I love both bands. Voted for Beardfish though, because they sound more original, fresh and adventurous to me. Spock's is always solid, but it is still mainly Neal Morse signature. As is Neal Morse solo. As is Transatlantic. So nothing so fresh there.

I loved Beardfish for a long time, but I eventually got tired of the really rough, throwback production that they use. I'd love it if they'd remaster all their stuff to not sound like it was recorded in the mid 60s.They album they released that didn't sound like @$$ was SIT2 and that's still my favorite.

I voted Beardfish, though I haven't heard their first 2 albums. How are they?
Then again, I haven't heard much post-Neal Morse Spock's Beard. I hear their latest is the best. I still think Beardfish are more exciting; though I prefer Morse's solo stuff and TA over both SB and Beardfish. |

post NM Spock's B is pretty good, but the albums are patchy. Feel Euphoria Octane and SB all have their moments , but X sees them return to the quality of V (i'd say)

Love Beardfish, but Spock's is one of my all-time favorites. They get my vote.

Beardfish. I like pretty much everything I've heard from them whereas I only love V and Snow by Spock's Beard.

Although I rate The Light highly, and some of their other stuff is pleasant, there's stuff on Sleeping Traffic Part 2 which is simply killer and that Spock's Beard would never do.
Beardfish, if only for SiT Pt 2.

Spock's Beard. I just don't get Beardfish and Spock's Beard have a very consistent discography.
