I have to be in the right mood for it, but when I am it's one of their best tacks.
It's shrill and 'metallic'/cacophonous, but that's clearly part of the musical story and something that other prog artists could learn from (I'm looking at you Dream Theater) and the Soon section is great. A welcome calm after the storm.

"The Gates of Delirium" is definitely my favorite Yes song. The sheer energy and chaos of the middle instrumental section is enough to blow me away. I would agree that "Soon" doesn't quite live up to the rest of the piece, but it's still a fitting conclusion.

I do agree with the people who have mentioned it, The Yes Symphonic version is simply god-like in every proportion of the word!
