Topic: Favorite Kayo Dot Song Posted: August 30 2011 at 01:33 |
I think I can guess the winner, but should still be interesting.
Calonyction Girl for me, no doubts at all. Symmetrical Arizona, Stained Glass and Marathon are some other favorites.

The Manifold Curiosity for me, probably the bestpiece of music I have ever heard.

The Manifold Curiosity. Oh, we were just talking about songs from Kayo Dot and not just your favorite song ever to be created? Yeah, still The Manifold Curiosity.

Though BLD is a close, close second.

I voted for Clelia Walking. Its gorgeous. I could have chosen some of the epics from the debut, but this is an overlooked gem.

Close between The Antique and The Manifold Curiosity. I'll go with The Antique.

Who voted for The Sow Submits? IMO Stained Glass takes the cake. Wayfarer, ___On Limpid Form and Whisper Ineffable are the runner-ups.

Stained Glass narrowly beats our Abyss Hinge 2 only because it suffers as a stand alone track a bit.

I missed this poll before, "Symmetrical Arizona" gets its first, and maybe last, vote.

I love Wayfarer, but the title track on BLD is a close rival.

Major Bump.
Listening to Stained Glass, and it's blowing me away. Though i still think Wayfarer is my favorite song by them. It was a introduction and i love the string build-up after the first movement.

1. The Manifold Curiosity 2. Symmetrical Arizona 3. Aura On An Asylum Wall 4. The Awkward Wind Wheel 5. Gemini Becoming The Tripod
More or less, something along those lines.
