Does anyone know what time signature this song is in? I've tried counting it out and simply cannot get it right.

I'm not the best counter but what I got from the part that I assume you are talking about is this: Two bars of 4/4, then a bar of 10/8 followed by a bar of 2/8. 

Nice song, hadn't heard it before.

My take: verses are in 4/4, while the chorus is in alternating bars of 4/4 and 6/4.

One of my favorite Caravan tunes.  Wanted it played at my wedding (along with "I Think of You" by Renaissance, but the band didn't have time to learn them.)
