Traditional caravan used to be composed of various number of camels, but the same rule isn´t valid in vice versa. I´m somewhat astonished by general success of the band Caravan here, one their album is even comparable, judging by PA ratings, with one of several pillars of Symphonic Prog - Camel. Therefore I´ve decided to create this poll to reveal your real preferences and opinions to both albums or bands generally. Edited by Gandalff - September 03 2011 at 04:19 |

Land of Grey and Pink is a big three star album for me, but the Snow Goose is much better and varied in my opinion.

Grey and Pink by a large margin. Different story though if it's Camel's debut,Mirage or Moonmadness.

Had to give this one a serious thought and after cup of coffee and cigarette I voted The Snow Goose.
Lately I've been listening Camel a lot, especially A Nod And A Wink has popped up as a real good album. |

Can't vote but still... Don't like snow goose too much it just don't fit right. It would be different with mirage or moonmadness. caravan is just fantastic. |

Caravan! But it was a difficult choice.

Camel made some great music, and Andy Latimer is a musician of great sincerity, but they were notheing on caravan, and The Land of Grey and Pink is much more interesting than the Snow Goose. that said i think Waterloo Lily is my favorite.

Can't vote, but much as I like The Snow Goose, it doesn't remotely compare to In The Land Of Grey And Pink. Caravan by a distance.

It takes a lot of Camels to make one Caravan for me.
So Pink and Grey by a few humps

Camel over Caravan. Land Of Grey And Pink over Moonmadness (although they are both great)

Preferring Camel in general, I vote for Caravan nevertheless.
I love Grey and Pink, and although I like Snowgoose, I don't like it as much as some of the other Camel classic albums. |

Caravan no doubt.
I know Snowgoose has its followers - and those who like that album, doesn´t just like it, no they love it with a passion like it was their own offspring, and that is very comforting to me.

Caravan's album is very good, but Camel's is one of rare beauty and emotion.

However much I love In the Land of Grey and Pink, I have to give my vote to The Snow Goose, which is in my top 10 of the 70's.
