...For Post Rock/ Math Rock or Crossover

This Town Needs Guns is a Math Rock band from Oxford, UK. Formed in 2004 and currently signed to Sargent House in the USA. Their debut full length album, Animals, was released in the UK through Big Scary Monsters Recording Company in October 2008, the same year their S/T EP was released.

They're definitely too mathcore to be considered progressive rock and it would almost be a tight squeeze in math rock.

It's like math-rock/post-hardcore.

I think?

Good stuff, sounds like a crossed-over form of math rock (or math-pop to a certain extent). Which basically means NO for PA.

This kind of bands was discussed here.

mathcore is math rock/metalcore, so I'd be willing to say they aren't mathcore.

This act can now be found in the Xover department. Ardent fans: Feel free to add the rest of their discography.

I think they're totally math rock, but they're not really all too progressive. Also, the dude's vocals are super emo, not that it actually matters though.
