Good insight, thanks.  I may eventually replace all of my originals, but that is a good place to start.  Remain in Light and Fear of Music are my two favorites, but who knows what the remasters and some time will do to my opinion.

The remasters were done by Jerry Harrison and also have a 5.1 surround sound mix by Jerry, bonus tracks and bonus video, so in the case of the first four studio albums, I'll say a definite yes.  My only complaint is that they have drafts of the lyrics as part of the booklet art but not the lyrics to match the songs.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

It likely depends on the group.  Some remasters sound better while others just sound louder. It would be an expensive habit to constantly replace your music.

I am gonna stick with my originals until they wear out...what is the general feeling of  remastered versions anyways? Good marketing or worth the change in sound?

I was wondering what people think of the Talking Heads Remain in Light sound quality of the Remastered version?  I have the original recording.  Is it worth replacing?  Thanks!
