he is a very good solo guitarist with a really good tone when he let loose on a guitar solo, he have a very good ear for solos, and hes phrasing is very good i think

hes best solos are on Crime of the Century -title track, Sister Moonshine,  Just Another Nervous Wreck, Wating so Long, Don't leave me Now, and Only Becouse of You

I think he is a very good guitarist. You forgot Goodbye Stranger (at 4:40):

and also the riffs he played live on Rudy.

Unfortunately he stopped playing guitar solos after he broke both his ankles in the mid 80's (86 or 87).
Except with Ringo Starr's All Star Band in 2001, but his guitar work there was not very special.

BTW, no vote from me, because I don't vote in polls that have the word "underrated" or "overrated" in them...Tongue

I think that Roger is a very good solo-guitarist in terms of "feel".
Technically, he isn't really a great player, but I think it's more important to play
the "right note at the right time" than to compete with Segovia,
so maybe...
