Foxtrot. If the Lamb had been two sides only, then it would have been a damn sight closer.

Well, here's a wrench in the works for you, if we're talking about the original LP releases it's The Lamb. If we're talking about CD releases then Damn I can't decide. But, and here's the crux, if we're talking about the 1970-1975 Remixed Box set then Foxtrot is the clear winner. I have been so absolutely blown away by the remixed editions of 70-75 albums it's like discovering a new band all over. I'll end up sending my original CD's to the local Op-Shop (Sally-Anne,Goodwill) because they may never get played again. Anyone else have these versions and care to share their thoughts?
Thank you for supporting independently produced music

Foxtrot
Mikael Akerfeldt for fans of Opeth who don't like his growls (and generally the growls): If they don't like it then they are pussies.

Foxtrot... probably. Next week I might choose The Lamb.

My fave track on Foxtrot is 'Can Utility and the Coastliners', a miniature masterpiece.

The Lamb is one of the few Genesis albums I can stand with. Well, I mean that I like it, not just can stand.

Foxtrot
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Foxtrot should be regarded as the NO1 prog album imho. Lamb is an interesting but 'flawed masterpeice'.

Ooofah!! I picked The Lamb.........if you listen to all 4 sides it makes soooo much sense. A lot of times I find myself wandering during Foxtrot...especially side 2. But Watcher is amazing!

I'm so mad that you enjoy a certain combination of noises that I don't
