My new copy of the wonderful second album has a different version of First Communication . I have two versions both of different lengths , how come , what happened? I don't like the 8.10 version on the revisited spv release.

Why did they change it , anyone know?

on the spv release the marvellous "rumble" at the start of the track is no more and although enjoyable , this version is just not up to the (original?).

Is the rumble on the vinyl version?

All i know is that the SPV release is thin sounding compared to the
Spalax which was very good and now unaivalable.
