Two superb bass players - but I also prefer Chris's style

Both are beasts but I have to go with Squire

And I saw KC a couple years ago, and there were three drummers and one bassist. And Mr.Levin I believe is one of a few bassist that can hold that position. He wasn't  what I'd call "all over the place".

What? Tony has proven he can pretty much play with anyone. What would you consider his "fame" to be? To me his "fame" is being a premier session bassist, so whats on the outside of that exactly?

I love both these guys but for me Levin takes this poll. Squires got chops for sure, but I'd still put him behind Levin,The Ox, and Wetton. Well maybe tied with Wetton, maybe...

As Tom said above...both excellent players.....I prefer the classic Yes albums Squire was on over the KC period when Levin played ( I preferred the Wetton bass playing era)......but that's about musical direction and not bass playing.
