The new (12th) MANNING album "MARGARET'S CHILDREN" is now available to pre-order ahead of its official Nov 7th release date on FESTIVAL MUSIC (F2).

"Always a nerve wracking time of year having invested so much time into making the thing, comes the time when it has to be let out into the 'wild'..so be free...!" GuyM

The album which is the sequel to the 2006 "ANSER'S TREE" recording features the current live band plus some excellent guest contributions!

Ahead of the release, weekly album character BIOGs will continue to be published from the wesbite. <

The live band is now working hard on bringing a number of the new tunes into the next set.

Radio / Interview launch events will be published too once these have been finalised...so please stay tuned

Cheers
GuyM

I just looked at the pages and I read on the page of Amy Quartermaine's bio that she and Philippe Baucq were led to ths fire squads on October 12, 1915. The cover art (beautiful again Clap) states that Amy Quartermain died in 1916. This chronological disaccordance must be caused by the fact that Edith Cavell (1865-1915) was executed on this day. Here the bio's of the fictive person and the original seem to be mixed up (if Wikipedia is correct, of course).

(Embarrassed, ... I'm somewhat sensitive to chronological details)

Any anomolies (such as this date) are soley due to the fact that my character (Amy Quartermaine) existed on the Anser family tree with her own Born/Died dayes BEFORE this album was written (i.e. it was devised for the prequel Anser's tree) and therefore, I had to change a few facts around and enhance the story somewhat.....but where ever possible, I stuck to Ediths life story

It states as much at the bottom of the BIOG page!

One week before its official release date, the NEW album has started to get its first comments

All the reviews and interviews will be pre-published on the band website as a one-stop shop for all things
