Edit: Robin has been interviewed by Classic Rock Presents Prog magazine, and there will hopefully be a feature on the band plus a review of the new album in issue 20, due out on 5th October. The opening track off this album, "Into This World", was also the first track on Prognosis 19, the free CD distributed with the last issue of the mag, which may still be available to buy in some places. Also, the third track off the album, "On Which We Stand" is featured in the excellent "Progzilla" progressive rock podcast #20 (July 1st 2011) which can be downloaded or streamed here: http://www.progzilla.com/2011/07/progzilla-podcast-edition-20-july-2011/ It's the first track he plays, so no wading through a load of other stuff to get to it, but there's a load more great music following it, so I'd allow a couple of hours if I were you - Enjoy!!!

I've got it on now. Isn't When Age Has Done Its Duty (title track) quite exceptional?
I will post on the neo team for this, as I think we should evaluate first

Absolutely agree with you Svetonio! You do indeed have an enviable ability to find fine new prog artists - how this band has escaped notice by anyone else until now is a complete mystery. Even though I heard them before on the podcast I mentioned above, and do have the second album, I never thought to check that they were on here & suggest them myself. Many thanks again for your efforts

This band definitely deserves to be evaluated. I have heard the whole of their second album "End Of Ecclesia", and whilst some of it is just very well crafted hard rock, there are a variety of styles featured on the album, and neo prog is one of them for sure. I particularly like the second track on this ("Who Will You Serve"). There are several excellent reviews of this album out there, particularly the one for prognaut.com by Ron Fuchs on December 20th, 2010: http://www.prognaut.com/reviews/cosmograf.html, but also Silhobbit: http://www.silhobbit.com/mambo/content/view/658/109, and a very good customer-submitted one on amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B004TPVUXS/ref=cm_cr_dp_all_summary?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending. David "Wilf" Elliot, who hosts the "European Perspective" progressive rock podcast on The Dividing Line Broadcast Network, did an interview with the band's driving force, Robin Armstrong, and played music from "When Age Has Done Its Duty" in show #120 (26th June 2011). Sadly, although the show before it (#119) is still available to download from http://www.starjump.org/, this one appears not to be. David is actually a member on here (username amazingwilf): http://www.progarchives.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=25901, and will probably be able to provide a working link if you contact him via PM (he only made one post on here so far, but visited the forums as recently as 11th Sept this year). If not, as long as he has no objections I can provide a link to the file I originally downloaded back in June via PM for anyone who desperately wants to hear this fine show (almost 5 hours long, with some other great music included!). The guest artists on this latest album include Bob Dalton (It Bites), Steve Thorne, Lee Abraham (Lee Abraham Band), Simon Rogers (Also Eden), Steve Dunn (Also Eden), Huw Lloyd-Jones (Unto Us), Dave Ware, and Luke Machin (The Tangent), so it should be a good 'un!! The band has already been added to Progfreak.com (1st two albums only so far) by Badabing666: http://progfreak.com/Cosmograf-106003.html?path=discography, but it does not feature in the PA section of that site. Definitely a band that crossover should consider, I feel.
Edit: Cosmograf at reverbnation: http://www.reverbnation.com/cosmograf - only 5 tracks, but one is an album sampler with snippets of all songs from "When Age Has Done Its Duty", and there are three full tracks from "End Of Ecclesia".
