OMG two of my favourite swedish band.. Well I got to choose Anglagard because of their perfect career ( only two albums + 1 live ) but PoS first 4 albums are simply mindblowing. Too bad they changed their path. BTW I can't wait for Anglagard new album !!

OK, going to have to re-listen some albums for this one. And I really don't have the time. I'm edging to Anglagard though.

Thanks !! Your topics always so good and informative. I like you talk.

I agree with that. ANGLAGARD with that melancholic Swedish atmosphere with loads of mellotron makes it an easy choice for me.

I almost like Anglagard (though not really) whereas I just don't like PoS, so Anglagard gets my vote.

Another hard one, but I went with Pain of Salvation as they seem to constantly evolve in different directions. I love Anglagard also but they seem to sound too much like mid-period Crimson. IMO Daniel Gildenlow is the most talented individual in prog right now

This seems to be the first match-up where the ones I vote for will advance. Anglagard is one of the truly original prog bands from the 90s.
