OK, I actually never had the LP.  I think I had a cassette copy once.  I've got one on CD and I think I'll stop there.

I have one copy. And it's for me.

I gotta say; this album and Kind of Blue get re-released too much. KoB had a good reason at one point because it was a quarter tone too high, but otherwise.... too much.

Depends when you got it, or which edition you have.

Mine says SBM on it.

Anyone have or going for that super duper recent release?  I'm tempted, I do admit. Embarrassed

Off-hand, I'm not sure. I know I have the corrected version since the liner notes in my copy talk about how the sound was restored and fixed.

I have bought the LP two times because the first copy was damaged after lending it to a friend, then the CD, then my daughter bought the reprint of the original package as Xmas gift and I have of course Pulse. It makes 5.

I got the LP and I also bought it off iTunes. So I guess that makes it two.

I had several CD versions, but i gave up and sold it back cause no one was sonically decent. The best i've heard is the 70's tape.

I didn't count live versions or repeat buys of the same release, I don't think that's what Brian meant.
What?

I have 3 copies of the original vinyl LP (in various states of wear from knackered to pristine); I have a 185g direct mastered vinyl reissue which sounds ASTONISHING as well as a Japanese remastered import LP; I have an original CD and a 30th anniversary CD. I may soon have the newly remastered and reissued version currently being advertised on Planet Rock. I also had an old cassette but the car player mangled it beyond salvage so I recorded the 185g vinyl album on to metal tape for that use.

And it isn't by any means my favourite album (very good but not a masterpiece for me) but the recording quality is STUNNING!
A TVR is not a car. It's a way of life.
