Wings are losing 3 to 1 in the 3rd, but they just went on a 5 on 3 power play, so maybe they will crawl back into it.

Great game, my ass. Penguins played like sh*t for the last 2 periods, as usual. Still, if the refs were able to pull their heads out of their asses and see a guy 2 strides offsides then Philly never comes back.

There was clearing a non-icing call when the Pengs scored their third goal. I can't remember the exact infraction, but Crosby initiated a penalty that went gave the Pengs a power play. I can remember those two clearly.
I'll give you that Briere was clearly offsides for his first goal. I forgot that we have a natural rivalry in hockey as well. I always just thought it to be football. Edited by Equality 7-2521 - April 12 2012 at 10:10 |

Pretty bitchin playoff hockey this latest edition of Flyers-Pens. Everything over the top. The series is definitely heading in a nice direction, hopefully just one more game to play.
Asham will probably get suspended for the cross check & sucker punch combo, but after Weber getting off with practically nothing for his thing I'm thinking every suspension from blatant but unsuccesful intent to injure is bullsh*t. With the Weber case Shanahan ruled that it's ok to make idiotic head targeting attempts as long as you fail at causing the damage you want to cause, and if he changes that now it just proves he favors star players. But I suspect he'd like to put out good heavy suspensions like he did at the start of the season, but the owners and Bettman began breathing down his neck soon with Wishniewski and others out for a long time.
